When we reach out with the Love of Jesus, we always see God at work. Here is but a glimpse of God’s faithfulness:
Recently, a young couple, who live on the streets, have been coming to our Sunday services as well as our Friday night worship times. God is powerfully touching their hearts. They are now meeting with one of our leaders, for discipleship, and they just got married.
A former homeless veteran, who recently lived in Shepherd’s Heart Veteran’s Home, has been out of prison for 12 months. He got a job at the VA hospital, and he is now looking to rent a place of his own. He had been seriously dating a woman, and a couple months ago, in front of the congregation, he surprised her asked her to marry him! She said, “yes!” In the past year, he has gone from being in prison and homeless; to being employed, married and now looking for a house to rent or maybe own! God is indeed good!
One of the men who stayed in our building during the severe weather this winter wanted to be reconciled with his family who lived in another state. He is now home with his family!
